It was not long ago that everyone assumed Iraq would be a central issue during the Primaries and on into the General Election. This issue has been mostly pushed aside during the Primaries. Favored instead have been more domestic issues like universal healthcare, the supposed recession, free trade, experience, the horse race itself and the Obama phenomenon.
